What a magical and unique experience! The secluded location in the woods, with a stream running through the hostel, was absolutely breathtaking. The private room next to the old watermill, with a see-thru glass floor to view the flowing river, was truly one-of-a-kind. The owner was kind and helpful, and the communal facilities were clean with hot water. Sleeping to the sound of the flowing water was incredibly soothing, and the healing properties of the waterfall were a pleasant surprise. The dinner conversation and atmosphere by the waterfall were unforgettable.
Nothing to fault.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming watermill retreat tucked away in a peaceful valley. The room in the old mill was spacious and clean, with a unique glass floor overlooking the flowing water below. The sound of the nearby waterfall provided a soothing ambiance. The friendly and multilingual host was always available to offer helpful advice about the region. Despite its secluded location, the accommodation was great value for money. We stayed at a charming albergue nestled in the forest, just 1.5km outside the village. The sound of the nearby waterfall was so soothing, and the location was absolutely beautiful. The beds were handmade and comfortable, and we even had real bedding. We enjoyed cooking our own meals in the kitchen, and the host provided affordable groceries. The albergue is constantly improving and getting better by the day!

I had a fantastic stay at Watermill Moinho Garcia in Pinheiro da Bemposta. The building itself was incredibly charming, with a unique watermill and a beautiful interior design. My room was clean, spacious, and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was convenient and well-maintained. Despite the cold weather, the room had a pleasant heating system that kept me warm throughout the night. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the positive vibe of the place made me feel relaxed and at ease. The surrounding garden and forest were absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. I also enjoyed the option to order dinner from the owner. I had a magical experience at Watermill Moinho Garcia and highly recommend it.
The only minor issue I encountered was a mosquito that entered the room at night. However, the host provided mosquito repellent, so it wasn't a major inconvenience.
